Update May 2017

Macbook, camera, and iPhone on desk

Greetings, I hope this quick ministry update finds you well in the Lord. As we prepare for our return to the States to take Shaday to Bible College, I wanted to share 2 short blessings with you.
1. It’s a huge blessing for us to see Shaday graduate from High School on time and with honors. There were several times during the years that she was hospitalized for a week at a time due to an asthma attack. Even earlier this year, she was in the hospital for about a week for the same illness. The weather here has been a major factor for her since moving to Nigeria and yet still, she finished the year earning SUMMA CUM LAUDE. There were times she did school on Saturdays to catch up with her assignments and tests. But to God be the glory, with much prayers, she is DONE!! Please rejoice with us for this great milestone in her life. Here are some pictures from her Graduation Ceremony April 28th 2017.

2 We had the opportunity to hold a crusade in a very large university 2 months ago in the eastern part of the country. After much opposition from the school leaders, God answered our prayers and the 3 day meeting was held. With the help of four other national pastors, we saw 330 students attend the program and to God be the glory, 89 students professed salvation in Christ. Each student that got saved, received a new Beams Bible and Dr. Chappell’s devotional while others received Pastor Costella’s Grounded devotional. Many of these new Christians carry their new Bibles openly now and have testified of other changes that has taken place in their lives as well as in their college. The teachers and students are joining together to fast and pray for this positive change in their school to continue. In the history of the school, I have been told of Satanic rituals, but thank God through this revival, God has given many the opportunity to be set free. Due to the visible change in the students lives, this has paved the way for an Independent Baptist Pastor to start a Bible Fellowship to disciple and encourage the new converts. “Is not my word like as a fire? Saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? Jeremiah 23:29. Thank God for the Power of his word to save hardened lives!
