Greetings, Spring 2007 Newsletter
The last full letter I sent was in April to ask that you please pray for the Nigerian elections that was approaching. And then in May, I sent a very short announcement of the birth of our fifth child Daniel Seth. Daniel just turned 6 weeks and he’s doing great!!The election in Nigeria took place as scheduled without large scale disruption. We praise the Lord for “peaceful” transition of government. We have had opportunities to present our work to churches for 2 years now and are at 90 percent in our support level now. We are anticipating to raise the other 10 percent soon With our planned departure for Nigeria at the end of December, 2007, there is the huge task of preparing to live in Africa. Here is the list of items we are in need that many of you have been asking about. And please pray that God will provide these necessities as time draws near.
1. A 40ft shipping container and cost of shipping …….…...7,500.00
2. A Toyota 4X4 Vehicle ……………………………………15,000.00
3. Airline tickets for whole family (7)…………………..……4,500.00
4. Generator to run all appliances (Honda)………..………..1,200.00
5. Water Pump for the well (Honda) ………………..………..200.00
6. Couple Small 1 horse power A/C………………….….120.00 each
In closing, I want to thank the Lord for bringing us to this point where we have driven over 100,000 miles in the same van and so far have seen 243 profess salvation. PRAISE BE TO GOD!!! In Christ,

Greetings, August, 8 2006
We’ve been back from Nigeria for about 2 months now and God has not stopped protecting us as well as providing for us. An example of that is, we had a flat tire on our way to a “camp meeting” where we were to present our ministry. Not knowing our immediate need, the Lord touched a visiting Pastor’s heart to give us $100.00 which was more than enough for a new tire. Another example was while staying at a prophets’ chamber, we were unexpectedly blessed by someone giving us over 200.00 for gas and 200.00 worth in groceries. When we surrendered full time in the ministry, never could we have imagined the blessings God had in store for us.
We have been in nineteen churches since we’ve been back, and have seen an increase in our support level. We are right now at about 78 percent and praying to be fully supported very soon.
I’m still in contact with some of the 38 Independent Baptist Pastors and preachers I met in Nigeria . It was such a blessing to have met them and hear their burden for the country. I’m looking forward to traveling to their churches to preach, to be an encouragement, and to see souls saved. Unlike American Pastors, many of these Nigerian pastors can’t afford to have speakers in for revivals. What a blessing to be able to minister to these churches.
I want to take this time to thank the many churches who prayed for our needs while in Nigeria . One need that was met was a need for a “borehole” which is for continuous water supply. God miraculously answered our prayers through Highland Baptist Tabernacle Blue Ridge,Ga (Pastor Rusty Thomas) to provide the whole $1,500.00 for the work. What a blessing it was for God to answer our prayer. Thank God no more trips to the well and COBRA SNAKE!!!
We continue to ask for your prayers for more opportunities to share our burden, safety, good health and strength especially for Vanessa as she has begun school with Shaday, Benjamin, and Alexa. Timothy has reached a milestone……..he turned 1yr old last month and started to walk, but decided it was better and faster to crawl.
In closing, I want to say “thank you “to the pastors that have allowed us to present our ministry as well as those that have taken us on for support. In preparation for the mission field, we are beginning to send our newsletters via email. If possible, please contact us with your email address. Thank you again and God bless.

Greetings, Update of Nigeria trip in 2006
Wow what a time we are having. If we were done raising support, we would really consider staying even longer here in Nigeria . We are beginning to miss the people here. We have met many kind Christians, and God has given us lots of opportunities to see many come to Christ. They are so open to the gospel here. One of the good things about this country is that the average person has a reverence and some sort of fear of God. They are blinded by religious. Since coming to Nigeria on these short mission trips, I’ve NEVER seen in my whole life a hunger for God like I’ve seen here including in America . On a given Sunday, you will find many going to some such of church service. Even the Muslim community have started having “Revival Services”, some even have things like Bible Studies all using the Koran. Some even hold Islamic gatherings on Sunday morning like we have church services including Sunday evening. How sad! I know it won’t be wise to go to the mission field on partial support. So please continue to pray for us that our deputation travels coming up after we arrive America will be a great opportunity to pick up more support and be fully supported by the end of the year. We are right now at about 72 percent support level. As we approach our 87th day away from America I see a country that is starving for the truth with the Charismatic and Islamic movement running rampant inside Nigeria .
I had an opportunity of leading a young lady that works for my uncle to Christ last Thursday at her desk. After admitting that confessing of sins was the way to Heaven, I then had the opportunity to share the gospel to her. After few minute, she bowed her head and got Born Again. After challenging her to replace her Bible with a King James Version Bible, I gave her a copy of John/Romans to start with. And it blessed my heart to see her read her John/Romans at any opportunity she had to read at her desk. Please pray for Deborah that she will grow and be faithful to God. Another opportunity God gave me was to preached in a church in Kaduna this past Sunday. They had in attendance over 300 and after the message, I counted 14 who gave their lives to Christ with many others making other decisions for the Lord. It brought the total Salvation decisions since being here to sixty. What a blessing to see the gospel that I heard in America coming from Nigeria work the same way in Nigeria as it did for me in America when I was 14 yrs of age. Please continue to pray that God will open even more opportunities to preach the gospel before we leave in 2 weeks. Please pray for couple meetings that may open up this week so we can see even more souls saved and lives challenged for the Lord.
In closing, I have one more update to write before we leave for America . Thank you for reading the updates and praying for Safety and good health. We are all doing fantastic. Shaday is doing very very well. Once we moved on to Kaduna , she has yet to have problem breathing. While we were staying in an area in Ogbomoso, we suspected that may have been the cause of her breathing difficulty. We are grateful for you praying for her. Benjamin celebrated his 5th birthday in Nigeria which was a little different, but Vanessa was prepared for the event. Cake, frosting, party cups, plates and napkins, musical candles, balloons, and decorations were included in the 15 boxes, bags, and suitcases that came with us from America . Celebrating the birthday with their cousins, added a little Nigeria to it.
Thank you for praying for us and supporting us. As you read our updates, If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. We have had several people email with some questions and comments about the mission field. It’s also a huge blessing to hear from you on the field.

Greetings, Winter 2005 Newsletter
We would like to take a moment to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year in advance from our family to yours. We’ve put over 50,000 miles on the van which resulted in us being in more churches and seeing more people saved than the previous year. It was very exciting to see God open doors and to see several of those churches consider supporting us. After being on deputation for several months consecutively, it is refreshing to be back in our home church for three weeks.
As we come to the end of the year, I’ll like to share some blessings:
#1 I had the opportunity to lead my eight year old nephew to Christ over the phone.
#2 God layed on someone’s heart to give us $1000.00 towards a Digital Projector.
#3 God allowed us to have 70 meetings and see 108 come to Christ.
#4 We were able to purchase land in Nigeria for our future house in the Village.
#5 Saw our support level from March to December rise to about 40 percent.
#6 Not encountering any major problems with our 230,000 mile minivan.
#7 We were all relatively healthy including Timothy our newborn who is 5 mns now.
#8 God provided all 6 airline tickets for a 3 month survey trip to Nigeria March ‘06.
#9 God providing us with 4 brand new tires for the van.
#10 My wife was given a whole Bible curriculum as she home schools the children.
There were many more answers to prayers, but we only mentioned a few. We thank you for your prayers, support and encouraging words. As we prepare for the coming new year, our prayer is that we have more meetings, more souls saved, and more churches to take us on for monthly support. We would like to leave for the mission field late fall of next year Lord willing. Our trip to Nigeria in March of 2006 will be more of a planning and preparation trip. When we return May 31st, we want to be better prepared for the mission field when we finally leave. Please pray that we are able to get a powerful generator, small refrigerator, air conditioner, and small portable cooking stove for our trip. As I reflect on this year, I’m excited that the gospel I received at age 14 in America, is the same gospel I will be presenting to my native country of Nigeria almost 26 years later. The old gospel story that works in America will also work in Africa because “… it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jews first, and also to the Greek.
Thank you and God bless!
In Christ,
Ev. Yinka Fasinro ……your missionary family to Nigeria, West Africa
