Newsletter – Summer 2006

We’ve been back from Nigeria for about 2 months now and God has not stopped protecting us as well as  providing for us. An example of that is, we had a flat tire on our way to a “camp meeting” where we were to present our ministry. Not knowing our immediate need, the Lord touched a visiting Pastor’s heart to give us $100.00  which was more than enough for a new tire. Another example was while staying at a prophets’ chamber, we were unexpectedly blessed by someone giving us over 200.00 for gas and 200.00 worth in groceries.  When we surrendered  full time in the ministry, never could we have imagined the blessings God had in store for us.

We have been in nineteen churches since we’ve been back, and have seen an increase in our support level. We are right now at about 78 percent and praying to be fully supported very soon.

I’m still in contact with some of the 38 Independent Baptist Pastors and preachers I met in Nigeria . It was such a blessing to have met them and hear their burden for the country. I’m looking forward to traveling to their churches to preach, to be an encouragement, and to see souls saved. Unlike American Pastors, many of these Nigerian pastors can’t afford to have speakers in for revivals. What a blessing to be able to minister to these churches.

I want to take this time to thank the many  churches who prayed for our needs while in Nigeria . One need that was met was a need for a “borehole” which is for continuous water supply. God miraculously answered our prayers through Highland Baptist Tabernacle Blue Ridge,Ga (Pastor Rusty Thomas) to provide the whole $1,500.00 for the work. What a blessing it was for God to answer our prayer. Thank God no more trips to the well and COBRA SNAKE!!!

We continue to ask for your prayers for more opportunities to share our burden, safety, good health and strength especially for Vanessa as she has begun school with Shaday, Benjamin, and Alexa. Timothy has reached a milestone……..he turned 1yr old last month and started to walk, but decided it was better and faster to crawl.

In closing, I want to say “thank you “to the pastors that have allowed us to present our ministry as well as those that have taken us on for support. In preparation for the mission field, we are beginning to send our newsletters via email. If possible, please contact us with your email address. Thank you again and God bless.

In Christ,
Evangelist Yinka Fasinro
Your missionary family to Nigeria
