Greetings,                                                                             End of year 2018 Newsletter
I want to thank you for praying and supporting us through out last year. February 1, 2019, marked our eleventh year as missionaries here in Nigeria. Because of your prayers and support, it has made it much easier to plant churches for the national Pastors.
To God be the glory for another great year. Last year we held several crusades at universities in the eastern part of the country where we saw over 1500 profess salvation in Christ. We also distributed Bibles to each convert. As a result of the program, the Lord led us to help plant/establish another church which brings our total to 10 churches since 2008. Four years ago, Pastor George Kamalu had started Trinity Baptist Church, Aba at his house which grew to 24 people. Pastor Brad Brandon/First Bible Baptist church of Plainville, CT was instrumental in erecting a larger church building for them which was a huge answer to prayer.
Pastor Brandon visited and preached at their first service January 12th 2019 which was an exciting day for the church. On the first Sunday, we saw 101 in attendance with several professing salvation in Christ. What a blessing to finally have a larger church building for many to attend to hear the truth of God’s word.       YouTube Video https://youtu.be/hQ6TijmX5Jg

We heard many give testimonies during and after the crusades. I would like to share several with you.

Soludo Eziaku – This 10 year old girl from Guilford Memorial in Aba was in tears when Pastor George met her a day after the crusade that was held in her school. She was disappointed that she missed the preaching and the Bible distribution which we gave to the new converts. The next day at the church, Pastor George was able to lead her to Christ. After giving her the Bible, with joy in her heart, she ran home. The next day, 2 elderly couples came to the church wanting to hear the gospel. Pastor George was also able to lead them to Christ, and they also got their own copy of God’s word. Pastor George found out later that it was Soludo’s testimony that led the couple to Pastor George for salvation. A few hours later Soludo’s older sister came to Pastor George for salvation and was also given a Bible afterwards. Soluda’s parents visited the church the following Sunday with 5 other family members, and all 7 of them trusted Christ. It’s amazing that as a result of one little girl’s testimony, her family and neighbors trusted Christ. Praise the Lord!!!
I would also like to share some letters we received from students who attended the crusades.

Letter #1– “Dear Sir/ma, a letter of appreciation. I am pleased and filled with a lot of gratitude for the gift you offered to me today being the 14th day of November 2018. You really touched so many lives today including mine. I pray that God will continue to bless and protect you, Amen. I thank you for bringing this good news to me….. Yours truly, Nwamadu Nmujomg Guilford memorial, Aba”

Letter #2– “ Dear sir, I humbly appreciate your effort in trying to reach the younger generation with the gospel of life and truth and I have benefited so much from the BEAMS Outreach. Through the ministration of the man of God he was able to convince me of the danger of sin, the consequence and penalty of sin, he was also able to let me know that God is ever willing to accept us even with our short comings. This day I gave my life to Christ…….Yours faithfully, Nwagur Fauwni Guilford Memorial, Aba”

Letter #3– “Letter of appreciation. I thank the Baptist church for their preaching that saved my life and other lives in my school. I also thank you for the gift of the Bible you gave us as you continue your good work may God almighty bless you. Thanks and bye. Yours faithfully, Kalu Patricia Guilford Memorial,Aba”

Letter #4- “Dear Evangelist Fasinro and family, with hearts full of gratitude we want to use this medium to say thank you for allowing God to use you and your family to bless us. We were encouraged and we pray we don’t recover from the encounter we had. We cannot forget to thank you for the Bibles and books and the souls won for Christ, the transformations, the revivals resulting from the crusade…….Yours faithfully Nwangu Joan, School of Nursing Amachara, Aba

Please pray for Pastor Orus and his family who started a church in Ghana 10 years ago. Bible Independent Baptist Church Kasoa, Ghana is currently having church services in a school building. For years now they have been encountering opposition from the school authorities. Because they have asked the church to leave, he has been searching for an adequate place he can rent for his church. The new location is demanding them to pay up-front 2 years of rent before they can move in which is normal everywhere. The church has saved $3000 and they are in need of another $3000 as soon as possible. Please join us in prayer and if God would impress on your heart to help, it would be a great answer to their prayers.
Finally, please pray for us as we will be traveling to the States to take Benjamin to Bible College this fall. We’ll be in the country May 9 2019-September 30 2019 Lord willing. We would also love to visit your church to give a quick ministry update if possible. Please let us know as soon as possible in order to better schedule our trips within the country.

Please pray: God’s power, much grace for Vanessa as she home schools, safety and good health.
“Being confident of this very thing that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Philippians 1:6
For the sake of more souls,
