Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve always liked airplanes. My dream before I got saved was to be an airline pilot, but God had other plans for my life. I still have a love for airplanes. I studied airplanes different types of airplanes with their configuration, styles, and engines. I still keep up with new airplanes that are being built today. I like the A-380’s and 777’s. I love Snicker bars, vanilla ice cream, and salad. My life verse is Philippians 1:6. Being able to go back to Nigeria and give the Gospel to my people is something that I didn’t it’s a blessing to do.

When I was a teenager, I told God two things: I will never go to Nigeria, and I will never marry a Nigerian. Never tell God never, because the Lord knows so much more than we would ever imagine. God has blessed me so much with a wonderful husband. We are celebrating our twenty-fifth anniversary this year! The Lord has blessed us with six children.

Hi! I’m Shaday Fasinro and the oldest child. My birthday is on September 11th, and my spiritual birthday is March 3. I graduated from high school in 2017. Mom homeschooled me all the way through. I am currently attending West Coast Baptist College and studying Office Administration with a double minor in media and music. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 40:3. If you mention coffee, dark chocolate, or cookie dough to me, I will be your best friend till eternity.

Hi! I was born on May 11. Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to be a preacher just like my dad. I was called to preach on April 7, 2015, at a youth conference. I surrendered to be a missionary to Nigeria in September during a conference in Nigeria. I am attending West Coast Baptist College and studying pastoral theology and a minor in media.

Hi! My name is Alexa Fasinro. I am a senior in high school. I was born on August 21, and I got saved on January 5, 2008. I love painting, playing the piano, sketching, and reading. Next year, I will enroll at Pensacola Christian College with a major in Natural Science, emphasis in Pre-Medicine, and a double minor in music and art. My life verse is Lamentations 3:21-23.

Timothy is in ninth grade. His birthday is on July 12, 2006. He loves reading, playing sport and scaring his big sister, Shaday. His favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 4:12. He wants to go to Pensacola Christian College for criminal justice and computer science.

Daniel is in seventh grade. His birthday is on May 1, 2008. He loves basically doing anything. His favorite Bible character is Daniel (for obvious reasons).

Isaiah is starting the third grade. He was born in 2011, and his favorite hymn is “Onward Christian Soldiers.” “I like to sing and preach just like Dad. After Dad preaches, then I get to preach.” My birthday is August 7, and I want to be a preacher and a song leader and a cook and a drawer [artist].”

Yinka’s Testimony

I am Yinka Fasinro, the second oldest of five children. (I have three brothers and one sister.) After I grew up in Nigeria, I moved to America when I was just twelve-years-old. In America, I found myself participating in various activities at an Anglican church. I sang in the choir, served as an altar boy, and even read the Scripture from the pulpit a few times. When I was invited to visit First Baptist Church of Rosemount, I discovered that salvation wasn’t based on what I’ve done, but whom I was trusting in.

After making the decision to trust Christ as my personal savior in August of 1980, I began to run from God, fearing He wanted me to be a preacher. I became a part of the world and participated in worldly things, but through it all God’s grace kept me! He had a plan for my life, and in the spring of 1986, I surrendered my life to do His will.

1987 was a miraculous and revolutionary year in my life. God confirmed His call upon my life into the ministry, to preach and teach His unadulterated Word. That fall, the Lord led me to go to a bible college. I graduated from Carolina Baptist College with a Bachelor of Theology degree in 1994.

Since 1987, I’ve helped a church in Gary, Indiana hold church services in a community center, served in the bus ministry at First Baptist of Rosemount in Rosemount, Minnesota, and become the Junior Church Pastor and a bus captain at New Life Baptist Church in Concord, North Carolina.

While attending New Life Baptist Church, I met my loving and beautiful wife, Vanessa. We were married on July 23, 1994. We’ve since been blessed with two daughters (Shaday and Alexa) and four sons (Benjamin, Timothy, Daniel and Isaiah).

In 1999, I was licensed and ordained as an evangelist out of New Life Baptist Church and later commissioned as a missionary out of my home church, First Baptist of Rosemount.

In December of 2004, while visiting my native country of Nigeria for the first time in 26 years, I felt God’s calling on my life to return to Nigeria as a missionary and evangelist. My burden is to be a help and encouragement to the Nigerian people through soulwinning, holding revival meetings, and equipping them with a supply of well-needed printed materials such as KJV Bibles, tracts, and study materials. Our family’s desire is to go throughout the country with the Lord’s help, preaching and teaching Jesus Christ and seeing as many churches planted as possible!

Vanessa’s Testimony

My name is Vanessa Fasinro. I grew up in Concord, North Carolina. (For those who may not know where that is at, it is 30 minutes from Charlotte.) As a little girl, I was part of a structured family with my Dad and Mom for just a short time. By age six, my parents divorced, and I began living a life with my mother and my two brothers. We lived right up the street from my grandma, whom I loved dearly. My world was turned upside down as I watched my grandmother, age 58, die from cardiac arrest (heart attack) knowing it was due to my unfaithful grandfather.

We soon moved from Hilltop to an area that most people describe as the projects. Each day was a day of survival. As a teenager, I enjoyed going to the recreational center, jumping rope called (Double Dutch), and playing other outside sports. No matter what activity we participated in during the week, we had to go to church on Sunday. This was a traditional, black church which could only be credited for teaching me there was a God. I knew there was a beautiful place called Heaven and a horrible place called Hell. I did not have any clue of how to get to Heaven, but I knew because of my lifestyle, I was headed straight to Hell.

At age thirteen, two bus workers stopped by our house and invited us to church. They faithfully picked us up each week. At age fourteen, I was challenged to come and receive Christ as my personal Savior. I answered the Lord’s call, and after being shown the Roman’s Road, I trusted Christ as my personal Savior. Later on, I surrendered to full time Christian service and began living a ChristIan life. I began to be faithful to church, reading the Bible, going soulwinning, and being part of The Lord then touched my heart about attending Texas Baptist College. I received a degree in Elementary Education. After finishing college, I returned back to Concord and continued serving the Lord. It was at this time that I met and married Yinka Fasinro. We have been happily married for twenty-five years, and the Lord has blessed us with six wonderful children. I have home-schooled all of our children, and two of them, Shaday and Benjamin are attending West Coast Baptist College.

My life verses are I John 2:15 and Ephesians 3:20. I enjoy taking care of my husband and our children which the Lord has entrusted in our care. I also enjoy reading hymn history, planning, organizing, and writing poems and music. To God be the glory for all He has done in my life.
